Trails in the Sky. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash (Sen no Kiseki)
está em desenvolvimento para PlayStation 3 e PlayStation Vita.





The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash terá um novo sistema
de batalha apelidado de  Tactic Link System. Jogadores ainda
terão que escolher comandos para lutar, mas ele é projetado para ser
rápido. O jogo também terá um sistema de "active voice", assim
você vai ouvir conversações em toda parte enquanto você está andando,
como acontece com Tales of Xiliia. Falcom adicionou uma câmera livre, na
qual você poderá girar 360 graus para verificar o mapa.







O game está previsto para lançar em 2013, e essas são todas as
informações e imagens que vazaram até agora.

Falcom president talks The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki
PlayStation 3 and PS Vita RPG sequel hinted for fall 2013.

Dengeki PlayStation this week has a two-page interview with Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo on the company’s recently announced PlayStation 3 and PS Vita role-playing game sequel The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki.

Here’s the bullet summary:

• It’s been about a year since Falcom started working in 3D graphics. The staff that has been working in pixel art up to now is building 3D tools.


• Though it’s 3D, their pixel art know-how still shines through.


• There is a lot of enthusiasm around the project.


• They’re putting all of their strength into the project. It’s the only all-new game they’re releasing in 2013.


• They’re hoping it will help Falcom step up their image.


• The game’s setting is the Empire of Erebonia.


• The time period is still under wraps, but they want to depict a period after Sora, Zero, and Ao.


• The image of the title Sen no Kiseki is meant to depict the flash of the arc the hero’s sword carves in the darkness.


• The big war in the empire that has been alluded to previously will actually occur.


• The four characters they’ve introduced up to now are protagonists, but they are not the only ones.


• They gathered the nine illustrators on the project together for a specific reason.


• The “Tactics Link System:” up until now, players have fought while judging the distance between themselves and their enemy, but it ends up with them spending a lot of time “waiting and watching.” Now players will be able to enjoy that time actively.


• While the characters move around, you have to constantly be thinking about what actions and links to use.


• “I think we’ve achieved battles with no time to rest.”


• “Active Voice” will be used not only during events and battles, but characters will also chat according to conditions as you travel across the world map.


• There is a cooperative action with companions that have weapons called “Orbments.”


• You won’t have to wait long for new information. There should be more before it gets warm out.


• Dengeki asks: “Will the sale date be in fall when Falcom usually releases new games?” The answer kind of hints that they are planning it, but that it’s still secret.

• The main characters have assembled for a certain purpose and are living in the same facility.


• The outline is split into four volumes of light novels.


• The raiding unit isn’t the Crossbell Police, it’s a new organization.


• The series’ familiar organizations, characters, etc. appear, but the idea has changed and a new nuance is established.


• Even if certain characters appear, it’s treated like their first appearance in the empire. They become episodes regarding all the past series. Particularly, The Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki The 3rd becomes an episode that double tracks this title, hinting at Crossbell.


• The bond events have evolved remarkably, as well as the go around playing.


• You can share save data between PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, and there will likely be costume and scenario download content. There is no difference between both versions.


• At the moment, they are still selecting voice actors.


• There are many mechanisms this time.


• Character designer Nakae created about 60 to 70 characters.


• The game will have the largest story in the series.

Falcom has launched the official website, shared new artwork and screenshots, and detailed the prologue and empire in its upcoming PlayStation 3 and PS Vita RPG The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki.

Prologue

• Elebonian Empire: This old major country boasting the largest domain is located in the Western part of the continent of Zemuria. In recent years, it has come under domestic stress is building due to the appearance of two powers.


• Noble Faction: Mainly made up of the major noble clan known as “the noble family of the four elements,” they use their vast resources to maintain a regional army and protect what they conservatively view as rightfully theirs.


• Reformist Group: A rising power attempting to usurp the power of the nobles, led by a common turned “Iron Chancellor.” They are expanding their military power with taxes gathered from the imperial capital and its provinces. These two powers will never see eye to eye and the antagonism is intensifying behind closed doors to the point where even the emperor’s mediation proved fruitless. This hidden feud has spread to all parts of the empire.

Elebonian Empire

A huge empire located in the western part of Zemuria with a golden horse on its emblem. It was an old-style nation ruled by the major noble clan, but under the policies of Gilias Osbourne, known as the Iron Chancellor, it has rapidly modernized due to the railroad system laid across the entire country.

Maintaining an enormous military presence consisting of not only the private army of the nobles, the Furstentum, but of over 20 panzer divisions, they have invaded the Kingdom of Libert and are constantly putting pressure on neighboring countries.

Dengeki PlayStation this week lifts the lid on the four protagonists of Falcom’s upcoming PlayStation 3 and PS Vita RPG The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki.

Rin Schwartzer: 17-years-old. Weapon: long sword. The adopted son of Baron Schwartzer. Feeling inferior as an adopted child, he enrolls in the military academy to find himself. He uses the Hachiyou Ittou sword style, and is taught by Yun Kafei, who he met seven years earlier. Kafei is the grandfather of Sora no Kiseki‘s Anelace Elfead and teacher of Cassius Bright.

Alisa Leinfort: 17-years-old. Weapon: bow. Daughter of the largest orbal production company in the empire. She enrolled in the military academy as a method of rebellion against working for her mother. She appears to have an intense personality, but is actually a good-natured person.

Elliot Craig: 17-years-old. Weapon: magic staff. The son of imperial army general “Red-haired Craig.” He has a friendly personality and is a fan of music. He wishes to attend the musical academy, however, his father opposes that he enroll in the military academy. His magic staff was developed by the Leinfort Company.

Laura S. Arzeid: 17-years-old. Weapon: two-handed sword. Daughter of the Viscount Arzeid. She comes from a military family similar to the Vanders (from Sora no Kiseki The 3rd). She has natural ability for using the sword, but can also be a bit ignorant of the ways of the world.

Outside of the four protagonists, the magazine also has new details on the game’s story, world, and methods of transportation.

Prologue

In recent years, in the militaristic nation of the Elebonian Empire (located in the western part of Zemuria), reformist groups and noble factions, led by the Iron Chancellor, are failing to see eye to eye. This conflict has effected the “Thors Military Academy” on the outskirts of the city, where the son of a local noble will soon be enrolled.

It is possible that Olivier (from Sora no Kiseki) may be the school’s director. This is simply a guess on our source’s part, however.

Differences in social status at Thors are represented by uniform color. A white uniform, for example, symbolizes nobility. A green uniform symbolizes a commoner. The protagonist’s uniform is different, however.

Crimson Imperial Capital Heimdall

A city furnished with locomotive lines and stations. The magazine features a screenshot of the city. You’ll be able to enter all of its doors and all of the city’s inhabitants seem to be named.

Vehicles

There are several methods of transportation in Sen no Kiseki:

• Imperial Army Tank


• Airship: an illustration shows a red airship.


• Orbal Tram: a tram that runs throughout Heimdall.


• Orbal Bike: there is also a variation that includes a sidecar.


• Cable Car


• Horse

Staff Comments

While the eastern part of Elebonia is the main setting of Sen no Kiseki, other regions will also appear. The officially released map is of that eastern part, but Crossbell State and the Calvard Republic are also on it.

The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki is due out this year in Japan.

Falcom debuted a short teaser trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki during Sony’s PS Vita news broadcast this morning. The upcoming RPG is due out for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita this year in Japan. Watch it below.
