Dark Souls II update teased for April 11
Will we finally see gameplay of From Software's RPG sequel?

GameTrailers is teasing an update on Namco Bandai and From Software’s action RPG sequel Dark Souls II next week.

“Come back to GameTrailers Thursday, April 11 for Dark Souls II,” it said at the end of its “Don’t Tread On My Souls” video feature.

Dark Souls II was announced for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC at last year’s Video Game Awards. So far, we’ve only seen a CG trailer.

Dark Souls II 12-minute gameplay walkthrough

Following today’s screenshot leaks, Namco Bandai and From Software have debuted the first gameplay footage of Dark Souls II.

The 12-minute walkthrough, exclusive to IGN, demonstrates a number of new mechanics, dungeons, creatures, scenarios, and combat.

Below the clip you’ll find an IGN video interview with From Software director Yui Tanimura and Namco Bandai global producer Tak Miyazoe.

O cenário na ponte com os dragões ficou muito foda!
Parece que manterão as mecânicas base do jogo.

Tenho que zerar logo o primeiro!

Lancem logo esse jogo POR FAVOR.

Jogando dilmas na tela; me tragam isso pra ontem! Também achei um máximo a cena com o castelo e os dragões circulando por toda volta. Não achava os gráficos do original ruins, mas de fato nota-se a melhorada! Pensei que naquela parte com o ciclopes-like preso o cara ia matá-lo na base da flechada tranquilamente, fui surpreendido positivamente.

Indispensável na minha coleção.

Design a shield in Dark Souls II
From Software to select the final designs.

Namco Bandai is offering fans the chance to design a shield to appear in Dark Souls II.

Interested artists can download a blank shield template and submit up to three designs through the Shield Design Facebook application on the Dark Souls II Facebook page.

Submissions will be accepted through May 13, and the voting period will run from today through May 20. The shield designs that receive the most votes from fans will be submitted to Dark Souls II developer From Software, who will select the final six winning designs for inclusion in the game.

Dark Souls II, Namco Bandai and From Software’s anticipated sequel to 2011′s Dark Souls, will launch for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in March 2014, an advert outside the Los Angeles Convention Center—the site of this month’s E3—confirms.
